Trouble Returns, Nancy Oswald's latest novel in the Ruby and Maude Adventure series has been announced as a Finalist for the 2017 Will Rogers Medallion Award in the Western Humor category. Winners will be announced on October 24, 2017, at the annual banquet in Fort Worth.
Trouble Returns is the winner of the 2017 Spur Award from Western Writers of America for Best Western Juvenile Fiction. The prestigious Spur Awards have been given annually since 1953.
Trouble Returns was also awarded the 2017 Colorado Authors League Writing Award in Children's Fiction.

Edward Lehman, newspaper publisher and civic leader, grew up in Denver in the 1930s when gangsters and kidnappings were front-page news. His work life began as a paperboy and culminated as owner/publisher of the Longmont Daily Times-Call, the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald, the Cañon City Daily Record, and the Colorado Hometown Weekly Newspaper. Lehman’s varied professional life also included years as a police reporter, deputy district attorney for Denver, and a stint in the Colorado state legislature.
Mr. Lehman worked with long-time associate Suzanne Barrett to research and reflect upon his life and times in Colorado.
