March 24, 2010 Denver, Colorado Joyce Lohse, author of Unsinkable: The Molly Brown Story, and Debra Faulkner, author of Touching Tomorrow: The Emily Griffith Story, will participate in, "Meet the Women in Denver's History" from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Molly Brown House, located at 1340 Pennsylvania Street.
March 26, 2010 Denver, Colorado Lydia Griffin, author of Prunes and Rupe, will present a session on "Trends in Children's Literature: Write What They'll Buy" at the CIPA College program offered by the Colorado Independent Publishers Association.
March 27, 2010 Fraser , Colorado Lydia Griffin, author of Prunes and Rupe, will present programs and visit with students at Fraser Valley Elementary School.
April 10, 2010 Firestone, Colorado Mary Peace Finley, author of The Santa Fe Trail Trilogy, and Joyce Lohse, author of General William Palmer: Railroad Pioneer, will participate in a Colorado Author Showcase from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, sponsored by High Plains Library District and held at Carbon Valley Regional Library (7 Park Avenue in Firestone). Authors will showcase their books, and a portion of sales will be donated to the library.
April 22, 2010 Colorado Springs, Colorado Joyce Lohse, author of General William Palmer: Railroad Pioneer, will speak about General Palmer at the meeting of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs InterQuest from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
October 15-17, 2010 Wickenburg, Arizona Joyce Lohse, author of four Now You Know Bios and the dual biography First Governor, First Lady, will join Mary Trimble in presenting "Adventures in Freelancing" at the Women Writing the West Conference.
