September 16, 2010 Lamar, Colorado Mary Peace Finley, author of The Midnight Ride of Blackwell Station and The Santa Fe Trilogy, will speak on Thursday at 6:00 PM at the Shore Arts Center during the annual Fall Festival in Lamar. The Midnight Ride of Blackwell Station has been chosen by Lamar Public Library as a book to read for the community's "Let's Read Together" program.
September 18, 2010 La Junta, Colorado Mary Peace Finley, author of The Santa Fe Trilogy, will give several short presentations and sign books during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Bent's Old Fort. To reach the Fort La Junta, Colorado, take Highway 109 north for 1 miles, then east on Highway for six miles.
October 1-2, 2010 Woodward, Oklahoma Mary Peace Finley, author of The Midnight Ride of Blackwell Station and The Santa Fe Trilogy, will be a speaker at the Santa Fe Trail Symposium sponsored by the Santa Fe Trail Association.
October 15-17 2010 Wickenburg, Arizona Joyce Lohse, author of four Now You Know Bios and the dual biography First Governor, First Lady, will join Mary Trimble in presenting "Adventures in Freelancing" at the Women Writing the West Conference.
April 17, 2011 Englewood, Colorado
Joyce Lohse, whose fifth title in the Filter Press Now You Know Bio series is the forthcoming Baby Doe Tabor: Matchless Silver Queen, will join other authors with new books at the 2011 Author Open House at Englewood Library. The library is located at 1000 Englewood Parkway on the First Floor of the Englewood Civic Center.
