John Stansfield

John Denver was one of the most popular performing artists of the 1970's. He released more than three hundred songs, composing about half of them himself. Denver hosted a television series and performed in movies.

He was named 'Poet Laureate of Colorado' in 1977 and his sond Rocky Mountain High was named as a state song for Colorado in March 2007.

John Denver is known also for his social activism and humanitarian projects.

John Stansfield is author of the Now You Know Bio of Enos Mills: Rocky Mountain Naturalist.
